Location and Amenities
The neighborhood is conveniently located near the Suwannee and Santa Fe rivers, and just three miles from Fanning Springs State Park. Good fishing and great restaurants are available near by and down on the Gulf in Cedar Key and Suwannee. Residents also benefit from city water and sewer as well as underground power. High speed optical fibered internet is also available. Homes of 1500 sq. ft. minimum may be manufactured or contractor site built.
Fees and Services
- HOA dues are $65.00 annually per lot (1 lot=1 vote)
- CBU mailboxes for new homes require a one time $200.00 fee.
- Garbage pickup available
Community Guidelines
Homeowners and residents are expected to read, understand and follow the associations covenants and restrictions, and by-laws. The Silver Oaks Homeowners Association (HOA) is governed by an elected Board of Directors made up of volunteers who oversee the community's day-to-day needs.
Community Living
Silver Oaks welcomes residents of all ages and promotes a peaceful, respectful community environment. The tri-county area is filled with retail stores from roadside stands to Walmart and all possibilities in between. Health care is available with medical doctors, clinics and local EMT services.
Please note that Silver Oaks is NOT an RV park and rentals are NOT permitted
